I haven’t blogged in a while, mostly because I’ve been working on other projects and didn’t have time. But now the fruits of my labors are appearing along with some more free time, and I’ll write a little about them.
The first of these “fruits” is the publication of a professional article I have written in Gozdarski vestnik (Professional Journal of Forestry), the leading (and to be honest, only) serious forestry publication in Slovenia. It’s titled: “Presoja možnosti uporabe ekonomskega domoljubja za povečanje prodaje slovenskega lesa in lesnih izdelkov”. Translated, the title looks like this: “Assessment of Possibilities of Using Economic Patriotism for Increasing the Sale of Slovenian Wood and Wood Products”.
A big thank you to prof. Milan Šinko from the Forestry dept. of Biotechnical faculty, who sparked the original idea for the article and me gave advice and support throughout the writing process – the first time is never easy. Dr. Mitja Piškur from the Slovenian forestry institute also deserves credit; he created many quality sources for this article and improved it greatly with his review. If you are further interested, here is a shortened abstract in both Slovenian and English:
