Invasive plants can boost blue carbon storage
Abstract: “When invasive species enter the picture, things are rarely black and white. A new article has revealed that some plant invaders could help fight climate change by making it easier for ecosystems to store ‘blue carbon’ — the carbon stored in coastal environments like salt marshes, mangroves and seagrasses. But other invaders, most notably animals, can do the exact opposite. “

Ljudska univerza Kočevje vas v sodelovanju s partnerji projekta LIFE Kočevsko vljudno vabi na otvoritev Orlove gozdne učne poti ob Reškem jezeru, ki bo v soboto, 6. oktobra 2018. Dogodek se bo začel ob 10. uri s predstavitvijo projekta LIFE KOČEVSKO v Orlovi sobi (prostori TIC Kočevska Reka, Kočevska Reka 5) in nadaljeval z otvoritvijo in sprehodom po Orlovi poti.
